Do you know your Google Bounce Rate?

You will be surprised how many organizations do not know their Bounce Rates.
Your BOUNCE Rates is an extremely important metric. It is so POWERFUL and yet so simple.
First, let's begin by defining BOUNCE RATE.
The simple definition for bounce rate: " I came, I puked and I left."
If 1000 come to your website and your bounce rate is 50%, this means that half of everyone that landed on your site left and did not go any further.
This metric defines the EXPERIENCE with your customer.
The official Bounce Rate definition:
Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors.
This is one of those metrics that are extremely important to monitor. You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy.
Measure your Bounce Rate on:
Your Home Page
Other Entry Pages
Keywords
PPC Campaigns
While it will not give you all answers, it will highlight what is not working right. It will give you information to ask the right questions.
